I've not posted in a long while but do hope someone can come up with a good idea.
My dog has impeccable movement and there has never been any question over this.
Very recently my dog has started to very slightly crab in the ring, which was picked up by a judge but thankfully didn't affect my place. There are no issues I'm aware of and the crabbing is bum in towards me and front heading away...
From what I can see it only happens when there is something to see and look at on the left of my dog, so working on running along a brick wall etc wont have any effect, or will it?
I road run my dog, off and on lead walks and do swimming.
I have tried moving at different paces, used different collars, run on the opposite side but to no avail...
All it needs is for my dog to keep their head straight which I'm turn keeps the body moving straight...
I've even tried against my desire to string my dog up on the move too.
I think I've covered everything :-)

If that's the case she isn't truly crabbing, she's just looking elsewhere which presumably gets corrected when you change direction. Whilst it's a bit annoying to have your dog focussed on something else most judges will notice it's a temporary thing and just watch for a little longer or might sometimes ask you to move again.
If it's a question of your dog getting into a habit of looking away from you then you might try adjusting your speed or pace in the ring environment as well as out - he may simply be anticipating your turn and getting ahead of himself. Try swapping hands as well and at home, and ringcraft, change speed and direction quite regularly to keep him paying attention to you instead of him guessing what happens next. Bright dogs will sometimes assume they know it all and stop concentrating so you need to surprise them occasionally :)
That's a point as I've been working on straight lines and as we always go left in the ring that makes more sense. I know running on the other side wasn't working but that was a straight line. Will give the ring work in the opposite direction and said a go.
My dog is very alert and on the go so always wants to see what else is going on beyond the ring, or training location... Maybe trying to wear them out before hand might help?
Anything is worth a shot I guess
One other thing which maybe linked is that my dog very slightly on the side they are pulling away to toes in. Just front the wrist.. The right side of the body is fine..
Off the top of my head I wonder if anything else is going on?

You could 'target train' your dog to keep it's head to the front when running. Think that is what I would try in your situation. If you have previously done some clicker training with the dog it should catch on pretty quick.
