Does anyone know if there is somewhere you can find out a record of dog shows and results.
I am hoping my girl can attain her Show Certificate of Merit and due to a lapse in paperwork I am missing a couple of details. I had assumed I might be able to piece together on the internet but this has prove impossible.

I don't know of any except for championship shows and some breed club shows.
Keeping records of your wins is pretty vital, just imagine you had won the CC,or worse your 3rd CC,and you have it removed because you were in the wrong class. Just one un recorded win and this could happen.

As this is open shows you have to keep tracks yourself. A puppy buyer of mine did a lot of winning at open shows including a BIS, so I asked her to check if she had enough points for the ShCM. She hadn't kept records at all. Thankfully each time she'd had a win she had told me and I had put it on my website, so I had shows, wins and dates recorded -but no judges. I ended up contacting the show secretaries for all the relevant shows asking them if they could please try to check for me who was the relevant judge at such and such a show, sometimes a few years earlier. It was quite a job. Thankfully everyone was very helpful and I managed to find out all the details and the bitch became only the second one in the breed to gain the certificate. Lesson learned though -I now keep notes on my computer for every dog, just in case.
Hi
Yes my lesson learned. Not up to winning tickets just yet but you never know. I only have a couple that are missing thankfully so I will contact the show secretary to see if they can help.

Providing they were not too long ago the show secretary should be able to help.
Have you tried Our Dogs on line archive although there would have had to have been a critique written.

Records for
all shows should be kept track off yourself..how do you know otherwise if you have won your way out of classes or are not over qualified for them??
We have kept an excel spreadsheet for every show we've been to, the classes, the judges, what position, how many in the class and the critiques
Its a pity critiques are not produced always or they are such a long time afterwards. If they appear ( I take Dog World) I cut them out and keep.
My girl got Group 3 at a show on the 30th December and I am still waiting for the critique to appear but I start to give up now. Other critiques from same show have been printed.
A spreadsheet is a good idea.
