Can't seem to find a Mid Blue or Dark Red Jacket for showing any ideas please.

Debenhams or Matalan have good selections of basic styles of jackets in a wide variety of colours. 

M&S, Next, Debenhams, BHS, House of Fraser,Bonmarche and Very.co.uk  They all have online service so you can browse and save a lot in shoe leather trotting round the shops, only to find something and they only have size 8 & 22 in stock.

Not sure what you mean by mid-blue, but I've just bought this from Next - it's definitely not 'navy', but perhaps too dark for you? Beautifully fitted, can be thrown around without creasing and can be put in washing machine.

The Tesco we shop at has in red jackets, also matching skirt and trousers.

Lilly Mac that jacket is lovely but yes to dark, I want it to go with black trousers and showing a black dog so I think they call it electric blue or lighter. The red in Tesco is a bit full on for me that is why I go for a dark or I suppose you can call it cherry red. Will look in Matalan as next to the supermarket.

I buy all my show jackets on ebay. You can then buy colours that are not necessarily in fashion at the moment.
