Hi everyone,
I was just wondering, how long does it take on average, from the day of a show to the publishing of the critiques?
thanks in advance, Marion

Six to eight week for judges who send it in promptly but they are sometimes held up if people have taken advertising space with photos so they all appear together - I have known them turn up six months later.

right, thanks very much. No good looking for mine just yet then!

If it was Crufts it may well be sooner but at the same time Crufts reports seem to hold up others.

On this topic of critiques, can anyone answer this question ...

I am looking for critiques from last Oct & Nov, but I am only now getting around to subscribing to the online newspapers.  I am led to believe that they include ALL the critiques in the online subscription, but am I likely to see old stuff from last year, or just stuff from the date that I subscribe?

Hope this makes sense, lol!

Don't know how DW works, but with OD online you can find show reports going back to 2001.

That is if they turn up at all. A friend was waiting for one from the bath champ show 2-3 years ago and it never appeard.

We've got several that never appeared in either paper so can only assume they were not submitted by the judges.  Shame as they include some where we won BOB!

Don't suppose anyone knows what happens if a breed judge at Crufts is foreign and does not write English? No hope for a critique or do they work round it somehow?

I would imagine they write it in their own language and get it translated. It shouldn't be difficult.

Fingers crossed then. :)
