I noticed a few people at Crufts with lovely beaded show leads, the lady benched next to me was from the Netherlands I think, and she said her friend made hers, but I didn't get any details.
There were also UK exhibitors who had them, but not quite so pretty as the one I had seen.
Does anybody know where I can get a beaded lead, or someone that makes them. Mine is a medium size pastoral breed.

Not sure if this is the sort of lead you mean, they deliver to the UK. :)

This is where the Rough Collie exhibitors get theirs from. :)

Thanks so much everyone for the links and PM's. I had to go out last night to a family meal, but I am going to have a great time looking at all the links and choosing. Spoilt for choice !!

Thanks everyone I knew CD's would know where the good stuff was.

Is it just collies that use them? Do they distract from the dog in any way? I thought your lead had to be the same colour as the coat so it blends with dog and not distracting from the outline. Only shown terriers so just asking. I like them though.

I don't know about other breeds but they seem to be popular in Rough Collies.  The dogs don't seem to notice one way or another.  I don't like them at all and prefer the lead to 'disappear'. :(
