I am been doing lots of research into this lovely breed and am looking for a breeder as local as possible to Bristol who i can meet at shows, talk and help out with there dogs, i am hoping to show when i get mine and i have never shown anything smaller than a Australian shepherd so would like experience within the breed before i get one if this makes sense.
I want to know as much about them as possible before i get one and not jump straight in.
If anyone knows of anyone that maybe of help please let me know, i was thinking about going to some shows to look at the breed but am quite shy to begin with some would prefer to know someone before i go so have someone to ask any question i may have while there.

If your on FB look up french bulldog information group and ask on there. do not buy from free-ads on the net, or an imported puppy an read up on the standard. If you want a dog to show you will have to WAIT. I traveled over 10 hours for my first frenchie and researched the breed for 2 years. Dont limit the locality as you will be up and down the country showing. Did you get to discover dogs? Have a look on the french bulldog clubs and fosse data higham press to see if there are shows down your way you could get to. Champ shows better and bigger classes higher calibre of breed quality.
