Can anyone advise me on the dosage of Panacur liquid for giardia please?
On the instructions it gives the dosage for weight, for worms but it also states increased dosing for Giardia. Is this on top of the normal worming dose or instead of?
Its 1ml per kilo for worms then it says 'Increased dose for specific infections' - 1ml per 2kg bodyweight. Do I add this onto the worming dose?
ie: My girl weighs 13k so her normal dose would be 13ml, so do I add on another 6.5ml = 19.5 ml for Giardia, or do I give her just 6.5ml to treat Giardia but for more days?
Sorry if I'm thick, I've not used Panacur before, but you wouldn't give less would you to treat Giardia?
Also is 3 days treatment long enough for Giardia? I've read it needs a 5-7 days course of Panacur??
Many thanks for any help.

Thank you all for your advice and suggestions. Its very much appreciated.
I did also email & ask the vet, Lucy, at Petdrugsonline, where I bought it from, and she advised 'Just give her the "increased dose" i.e. 6.5ml by itself for 7 days in a row.', so at least I now have some guide lines to work to. I still don't think the intructions are all that clear though on the box.
Once again as always all your help is invaluable :-)
