Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Places to stay for Windsor Champ show
- By CVL Date 12.03.13 11:59 UTC
Please can someone recommend a well-positioned travelodge/similar for Windsor Champ show?  We're there on the Thursday this year, so I expect rush-hour traffic may be a problem.  I've found a couple that are in Windsor itself, but I don't know that these are the most sensible places to stay.   I'm rubbish at things like this, so I was hoping someone would know the best places to stay?

Thanks,

Clare

lol--and if anyone knows a place that accepts 4 dogs, please let us know!

The travelodge charges £20 per dog!  It costs more for the dogs to stay than it costs for me to stay.  Ahhhhh!!

I bet they don't allow more than 2 either :-(

You're probably right, but you could do the old trick of taking 2 in at a time... sure you could confuse them!!

Days Inn chain takes dogs, not sure of the max but they are cheaper and better than Travelodge.

looks good...maximum of two pets per room...*SIGH*

not all of them let dogs in (apart form service dogs)--just phoned up a couple to check, Ramada Guildford Leatherhead doesn't have a limit exactly and they offer separate accommodation to the rest of the hotel, but they charge £25 a dog and the room is £89...Days Inn Fleet allow 2 dogs at £5 each with a £75 service charge in case of accidents--not sure how much the room is.

probably cheaper to book a weekend in a cottage .. than what you would pay extra for the dogs.
