Hi,
I havent been here for some time now but Im looking for some advice.
Im hopefully looking to get an Irish Wolfhound in a couple of years time. My daughter and grandson have moved out into their own home and as Im no longer working I have all day and all night to myself....plenty of time to give a pup or older dog.
I have always loved this breed since I was little but we always had small and medium breeds.
I have started researching, but I need some first hand advice/experiance of owning my favorite breed.
Can anyone help please.

I suggest looking at breed club website, if possible get to some Ch shows and watch the breed and talk to owners /exhibitors

My Aunty had one of these and she was the gentlest dog I have ever met.
