Can anybody personally recommend a dog sitter to have dogs at their house or somewhere with luxury kennels, ie not a shed and concrete run but more like a home from home. Got several dates this year when my dogs will need looking after overnight and I want to give myself plenty of time to check out places and perhaps have a dummy run. Am willing to travel for the right place.

I have a friend who takes dogs in her house in South Devon. Message me for her number if that area is any use. I used to work in kennels with her, she is lovely :)

I have also heard good things about The Dog Lodge near Plymouth. A nice chap who takes dogs into his home apparently.
