My friends gsd  dog is undergoing tests, but the vet believes she has EPI. My friend has been recommended to change onto a low fat and low grain food for her dog. The dog is fully insured so everything she needs she will have as far as treatment, however pennies are short for the cost of the food. Can you recommend a food suitable for EPI that doesn't cost an arm and a leg to buy.
Most grateful for any advice ( She is feeding Chappie wet for the last few days but didn't know if there was something better)

This may be worth a look, dogs with EPI seem to do well on it and doesn't break the bank.  http://www.workinghprs.com/content/duck-and-potato-working-dog-food-15kg
