My bitch came into season and had all the symptoms ie swelling etc but no bleeding. After being really swollen for 10 days she started flirting and lifting her tail. We progesterone tested her and then mated her on day 12 and 14 with two ties at 20 mins and 25 mins. 4 days after mating she then started to bleed.I have never had a bitch do this before so i am now wondering whether there will be even any chance she will be in whelp. Has anyone had a bitch mated when no bleeding at all was present

If the progesterone tests showed she has ovulated and she was mated accordingly then she has a good chance of being in whelp, only time will tell.

Observe the discharge for smell as it may be blood that got trapped and therefore could become infected.
