Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Spare exhibitor pass wanted for Crufts?
- By JAY15 [gb] Date 08.02.13 14:03 UTC
Not sure if this is the best way to do it...I've got two dogs (possibly 3) entered at Crufts and have been able to persuade as friend's daughter to help him on Gundog day. I need a pass for her and wondered if any of you good people might have a spare, for which I will gladly exchange the appropriate amount of currency of the realm :-)

Of course if this is an idiotic request, and I am better directing my efforts to purchasing a ticket online, I hope some kind soul will provide me with the necessary virtual kick in the backside :-) :-) :-)

Have you already got a person taking in each dog? A dog pass gets one dog and one person in.

I entered the two dogs--and there was just me. So does that mean I already have a spare pass, kayenine (mumbling under breath in a sorry for being stupid kind of way)?

In my defence, coming from a family of aliens implacably opposed to the concept of dog shows, it's never occurred to me that I might be able to find someone to help, let alone what I need to do to make sure they can get in!

Yes as long as she goes in with the dog, she doesn't need an additional pass :-)

If you've entered 3 dogs (you sound unsure :-D) then she can even bring a friend! Even if you leave the 3rd dog at home!

The uncertainty is because my third dog, who has qualified for life by means of his RCC ad who would definitely be going if it were up to me, is still registered to his breeder even though he's been with me for over 4 years. I haven't been told yet whether she's entered him or not.

Ooh, I'll have to remember that next year when I will have 2 to take for the first time!

I often enter an extra dog for the sake of getting an extra pass -not much more expensive than buying another pass, and you get an extra bench to sit in front of so more space. :)

Yay!  I'm glad you've got an assistant for the day :-)

Me too Clare...and especially someone who's even interested in dogs! My friend's daughter is the one who adopted Noodles the ancient Bedlington bitch :-) who incidentally is doing very nicely, queen of all she surveys. Actually that's silly--she's virtually blind--make that queen of everything everyone else surveys!
