Does anyone know of a ringcraft class in Portsmouth that is any good? We went to one in paulsgrove a couple of years back but the people who ran it were more interested in themselves than the dogs, now they have gone, the people who have taken over are trying hard but it is just not what is required (too many dogs and NO dog experts).
Does anybody know of a good one?
Thanks.
I know the people who ran/run both these groups and they are very experienced handlers and judges. I don't really understand your comments.

A new one was set up in the centre of Portsmouth and if you google it I know it comes up and there is one in Havant and Selsey too. I don't live that way but many friends do.

You 'don't understand my comments' ?
My comments are easy to understand, the people who ran the ringcraft that has just finished (PSKA) in paulsgrove, thought more about themselves than actually doing what they were there to do (teach handlers and their animals ringcraft), talking to their buddies, doing raffles and a**e licking each other was their main reason for turning up on a wednesday, simple.

Yes the one in Portsmouth centre was very good, nice people, helpful, knowledgeable advisors, good judges, unfortunately they have decided to end it.

The one that is now at Paulsgrove community centre on a Wed evening is the one that was held in the centre at Charles Dickens school!
As the lease on the school hall was not renewed, they have simply moved into the venue vacated by PSKA.
So the instructors are the same as those you mention.
Why not go along and see, they also do a monthly match night on the last Wed of the month
South Coast ringcraft club has moved and taken over the venue at Paulsgrove they now train on Wed 7.30pm till 9.30pm price £2 per session
the school had a change of headship and they decided they did not want a dog club using their premises.

There is a new one starting on 3rd April at The Stacey Community Centre PO3 6DN called Southern Show Team Ringcraft Club. People are very friendly and they run seminars for newbies too.

Yes, I did hear about the new club opening. I was chatting to one of the organisers at a dog show, he was very helpful, gave me some hints and tips with my dog that worked a treat. It sounds quite good. He said they will be having seminars to help out the new guys (like me), so ill be paying a visit.
