Topic Dog Boards / General / Mindblowing scam...

Had to share this, a friend on an other forum saw this advert.
Not sure where, but I can ask - it's genuine....

''GENUINE Great Dane Retriever PUPPIES, Both, 0-8 weeks, black/white/tan, Black or White, update all shot***((( Boys and Girls ready for sale..A really stunning cross of two very popular toy breeds, puppies are non moulting, fun, loving, good with children and other pets and very intelligent and easy to train, they make wonderful family pets and companions All puppies are vet checked and vaccinated with the first part of the primary vaccination, before they are able to leave us at 8 weeks. They will need one further vaccination at 10 weeks to complete the full course, they are wormed every two weeks from Birth, frontlined regularly and are very well socialised and used to children, they come with 4 weeks insurance with Petplan, a puppy pack and a puppycare leaflet, they may Be seen with both parents at our licenced kennels, open daily except Mondays. Obviously a scam from somewhere overseas but you gotta laugh!

Nooooo.......... they've obviously taken things from different adverts and made their own out of it.

At a guess I'd say it's South African........ I can just hear the accent whilst they are saying "It's genuine, honestly it's genuine." :-D

Please, I hope no-one falls for that........ (but, there's always one isn't there?) Perhaps we shouldn't point out the vast amount of mistakes.......

Has anyone from your friends forum reported the SCAM, they should if not, because as I said........there is always one. :-)

Oh dear...... :-D :-D

I love the comment, they are 'both 0-8 weeks old' and 'non moulting' and they've been shot!!!

Wow if only those with Danes and Goldies knew that by crossing these two moulting breeds you'd get a non moulting toy!!!

Is there anyone in the world stupid enought to believe this?!!!!!

'great dane pups from two popular toy breeds' ...its a miracle!!!
'0-8weeks' ...can someone not count how old they are???

There probably is.   I met a lady yesterday with her goldendoodle, her Portugese Water Dog and her Schnauzer.  Then we met a man with three labradoodles.  "Oh," she says to him, "I wish I'd got one like yours, then it wouldn't shed."  !!!!  She thinks Gdoos shed and Ldoos don't.

The man was really good and told her one of his two littermates sheds and the other doesn't.

Going out to walk my dog soon, will be sure to look out for a toy GD.

A lady with a Woodle (Westie x Poodle) rang me tonight. I said I'd have called it a Pestie lol (her hubby said it could also be a Postie!).

I think the 0-8 Weeks bit is probably from the site they are listed on (still not sure which one!)... some of them have a format, so it would probably read something like this:
GENUINE Great Dane Retriever PUPPIES
Sex: Both
Age: 0-8 weeks
Colours: black/white/tan, Black or White

if you see what I mean...
so when the ad was copied & pasted the categories didn't copy over. Maybe there was a drop-down choice of ages to put in the ad, eg: 0-8 weeks/8-12 weeks/3-6 months etc etc.

Still doesn't affect the amazing breed they have for sale... LOL

It's the BYBs favourite, P4H.
And has been reported as a scam... it's thought perhaps an Eastern European one, which makes a change from Nigeria...

Well if both parents can be seen at their licenced kennels (LOL) how about someone ringing making an appointment to see them?  It should be good for a laugh if nothing else.
