Thinking of changing the whippie over to raw.  Guidelines suggest 2-3% of body weight but check recommendations for specific breed.  So ... does the whippet fit into general guidelines?  He doesn´t for anything else.  LOL.  Help and advice would be welcome please.

I wouldn't see why not- if he looks like he's to skinny add a lil more, if he looks like he's gaining to much
add a lil less. His body will tell you by the shape so to speak.
Have been on Raw since August and just did a straight switch and have never looked back. Best thing I did
for my kids :-)

Thanks dollface.  Your kids!  LOL.  Like you I did a straight switch with my toy breed dog and we´ve never looked back.  Occasionally I forget to take a portion out of the freezer so then he has to have kibble, which he still enjoys, but that´s only about once every 2 or 3 weeks.  The whippet has only been living with me for a few weeks and so far I´ve only fed him what he´s been on for the last several years.  I´ll order the food and give the switch over a go though. I know he´ll like it.  I just have to hope I can afford it long term.
