I think Manchester Pastoral day got called off last year due to weather, do you think its likely to happen again??

I have a new pup entered his first champ show and by the looks of it we wont be going anywhere with the snow :( was looking forward to it as well.

It wasn't all that bad today. Roads to and from not bad at all if you were a tad cautious, took a bit of brushing to get the car uncovered from snow on the way back but got back home without any delays.

Oh and no, no day was cancelled at Manchester last year, are you thinking about the summer shows being cancelled like Blackpool? That was pastoral. I don't know of any championship show being cancelled due to snow for many years.

It was something someone mentioned but as i didnt do manchester last year i didnt know.  I know blackpool was cancelled in the floods but they specifically said manchester, maybe it was a long while ago :s

I'm interested in the condition of the roads tomorrow. The van isn't great in snow, so seriously debating whether or not we'll be able to make it safely on sunday.

Roads to and from ground aren't that good. The a50 is quite Ivey.

It's apparently snowing again and while it was clear it doesn't appear to be good up in the Stafford area now!! Also we don't know how good a job the gritters will be overnight as temps plummet!!

looking good at present but i believe more snow expected. m6 is clear. i think the road to watch is th a50.

I made it there and back today with ease.
I came in from the m6 junction 14 and was clear, very little slush.  Motorways m42, m6 toll and normal all lanes clear.
The road outide the showground was clear too.  A good amount of snow/slush in the car parks but still easy to get out.  Warm in the smaller halls to the side where i was.
Unfortunatly due to the weather we had entire classes absent which was a shame as we had a lovely judge.
My new little one got best puppy in breed but had zero puppy competition, so our breed classes flew by but still glad i went :)
