Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Best Blaster for a Newfoundland

Hi, I'm relatively new to showing and about to restart after having twins. problem is I bought a cheap blaster to get me started but that has now died on me, plus it took forever to get Harvey dry.

Could someone please recommend a blaster that is great for a Newfoundland's double coat please? I was looking at the K9 lll but It doesn't seem to be available in the UK and shipping costs are a lost as much as the blaster its self, so really want something I can buy from UK.

thanks in advance for any advice xxx

I've got the Biggles Express from Dezynadog and its coped with plenty of Newfs and other heavy coated breeds for the last 5 years. It's good for getting grunge/dust/dead hair out of dry coats on a daily basis.

Hi ,we have a tornado 93 dryer/blaster,they are about £400,but we got one off ebay for £255, it was as good as new. But our groomer uses a cattle blaster ............Wow, its not got hot air but if you only want a blaster and not so much of a dryer these are brilliant.  Miranda

If you don't want to spend silly money the techogroom twin blaster is very good. I think it's a shared model and I got mine for 150, for the price its very good value for money and very powerful.
