I don't go to obedience shows much except the toy only ones, so I really need some on line links. I am looking for a small light dumbbell for my Cavalier, with a narrow bar but large ends. I use one from Pets at Home for my older girl, it's supposed to be a rabbit toy but it's a perfect miniature dumbbell and she loves it. But I'm trying to teach her daughter to retrieve, and she seems to have trouble picking it up. She will happily take the dumbbell from my hands and hold it, and if I lift one end off the floor she can get it in her mouth to hold it up, but she doesn't seem to want to try to take it off the floor. I'm not sure whether it's just her being pathetic, seeing as her mother has no trouble at all, but I thought it might be worth a try with a different style. But it needs to be lightweight because she's a wuss, narrow bar as she's only got a little Cavalier mouth, but nice wide ends so that it's further off the floor and easier to get her mouth around. Any ideas?

Brill thanks. I see Karen will be at Crufts, that might be the easiest thing as Cavaliers are bound to be in hall 5 anyway, I can take one of the ones Ellie has no trouble with and explain what I need! :-)
