Topic Dog Boards / Showing / Entering totally incorrect class

Had a call this evening from a club secretary regarding my entry for a show.

I'd somehow, don't know how but managed to enter my Rottweiler into a Briard class. They aren't even anywhere near each other on the entry form regarding numbered class.. Doh!!!!

So glad that she spotted this and called me.. Would of been interesting on the day, lol...

I did this years ago, I entered Mia & Curtis in the Brittany classes!

Any good secretary will pick up on things like this...errors are easier to sort sooner(before going to printer) rather than later(on day of show). Although some secretaries do have lots to do & its not alway possible or down to them.

so if you enter in the wrong breed but right class, are you then moved to the right breed, right class, or right breed and automatically in open?

If you enter the wrong class in the breed aren't you moved to open? unless it age-related? or is that just on the day? or just AFTER the closing date has passed?

just wondered
