Has anyone tried this?  I'm looking for a good food and I have came across a site that gives good reviews.  This food came up quite high and when checking on the website, the high protein food (similar to TOTW, etc) is pricing in at £45 per 14kgs.  I think it's a great price but I don't know anyone who uses it.
Any reviews from actual users?

She has used the Salmon and potato, the 80/20 is new, I linked to it on another thread.

The 80/20 has only been available since the post Xmas ordering day which was 2nd Jan, so those that ordered will only have had delivery this week.
If you get in touch with Simpsons ( I've always found them very helpful ) they *might* give you testaments from whoever was in their trial groups??? It's worth a punt?

I have tried both varieties and all of my gang enjoy it.

My Husky 'enjoys' cow pats, toothpaste, dried squashed frogs on the Tarmac off the road, and my NAAFI tea!!!!
None of which I want/allow him to have!
;-)

We're *dying* to know what it's like, you've got to give us more than that Scarlettwynter!! :-D

LOL!!!!!Huskygal!!! That is so true.  We spend so much time getting them a fabulous food and they would eat me should I lie still long enough!!

I'm going to give it a go.  Last bag of food I bought was RC and it was almost £50 for 15kg so it's around the same price.  I wanted to go raw but I forget to defrost 9 times out of 10!  This is kind of the best of both worlds.  Plus, we spend a lot of the summer camping so it's convience too.
Meant to add, I'm looking for a new food because my GSD is moving on to adult and after seeing the reviews for the food I feed my spaniels, I can't bare to feed them that rubbish any longer.

Honestly, it will change your views.  Did for me.  I thought I fed not bad, middle of the road.  Nup.  Not even close!  Great reviews for Simpsons though and I like the 80/20.

Oh your preaching to the converted as this old Champdogs thread from 7 years ago shows... I was converted a long time ago (used to live in the States and when I came back to this country I used to import as nothing was available here at that time!!)

Awww... Reading that old thread reminds me of all the old members I miss  ~ in them days the feeding thread was awesome ( also a bit explosive!! I think it used to get the most padlocks :-D)

P.s check out how we were all moaning about paying £37 for a 15kg sac!! ( nearer £50 now!!) :-D

One thing I noticed(as I'm a relative newbie) was the amount of show chat in among the 'normal' topics!!  Boy, has that changed!  Do you think it's more pet owners on here than people who do things with their dogs now?

PS Huskygal, you've not changed a bit!!lol Bit quieter maybe but when you write in a thread, everyone knows your there!!lol

D'you know, that's true! I've been 'away' from CD for a while and yes that has really struck me too.
(Certainly on the breeding threads more pet dogs being bred than I ever saw when I first joined ~ which given the economic downturn and rescues being full, you wouldn't expect to see that kind of puppy boom?)

Yeah, I'm trying to be more grown up and a bit quieter ;-) Doesn't always work....

My gang are raw fed in the morning and have kibble in the evening. I had tried Simpsons Salmon and potato and Fish4dogs. Found that one of mine had an issue with beet pulp so wasn't too happy with them. In August one of the girls had her spleen removed and at that point I decided to take all grain out of their diet. All the niggling little things have vanished. No tear stains, pup had developed an issue, and one of the boys has stopped his crazy scratching. They all eat it and enjoy it, a few can be fussy but there are no picky eaters with 80/20.

I also tried Applaws which they liked but Simpsons delivery is great and the bags are slightly bigger.
