Hi, i took my daughters dog to be mated, this morning and during the tie the owner told me that the last time he was used he bled a lot, he was taken to the vets and was told his skin must be tight and not to worry but he could be used again after anti Bs. after this mating when he came out so did a lot of blood and clots came out of the bitch. Has anyone else encountered this? also is the bitch at any risk of infection etc? They said the previous bitch had had pups so what is the possible outcome, any help will be appreciated.

Was the dog swabbed again following the completion of the antibiotic therapy?
