I would use a DAP diffuser in your current house (where packing etc is going on) and also in the new house.  I asked DAP and they are perfectly safe during pregnancy.  They can help reduce anxiety...

Not sure about Zylkene and if that can be taken during pregnancy, but it's entirely natural too so perhaps check that out as well.

The key I think is to remain calm yourself. As we all know, the dogs feed off our emotions so maybe some rescue remedy all round xx

I'm moving tomorrow, loading starts today, and I've got a girl here who is just over 5 weeks. Like you I'm worrying about the effects it may have on her as the stress levels are high and it's chaos here. I just hope all will be OK.

The scanner saw 7, so a nice sized litter. I'm just about to pack up the computer and may be offline for a while as BT have mucked up my order. Quite how I'm going to manage without my Champdogs fix I don't know! :)
- By white lilly [gb] Date 16.12.12 16:39 UTC
well all the best till you get back on here :)

Good luck and bt messing up an order is not unusual as they did when we moved. We were off line for the last3 weeks up to my son doing gcses!
All his revision was online as is these days! He luckily managed to pass and get onto courses he needed despite the lack of revision.
Hope the move goes well x

You don't want to be seeing discharge this early on and my dogs are rarely ever sick and only are near the end of their pregnancy.  Fingers crossed for the scan.

From what you have said the early mammary swelling is the only indication from past experience that it may be a phantom, I found from 4 phantoms[only on seasons she had been mated] in the same bitch that all development was accelerated, weight gain, boobs, girth etc., when she finally had a proper pregnancy there was none of that.

My girls have never had morning sickness, maybe being free fed helped as they could eat when they felt like it, the only discharge was at the end when losing their "plug".

I hope she is in whelp as I know how disappointing it is when they are not and having to wait several months to try again.

Hi White Lilly, my bitch is nearly five weeks and the only signs I've had are temper changes, and a little thickening around the waist, slight morning sickness. No puking, no discharge, etc. but I know she's preggo! Wait and see in the New Year with a scan xx
