Could anyone recommend really good kennels in Flintshire/Wirral, care and comfort is my priority for my spoilt little madam!! I've never had to put her in kennels before but will have to in January for a couple of days, Thanks.

I haven't had the need to put mine in the kennels [yet], but there are couple good ones I've heard of in Flintshire. One is Cottage Canine Comforts [http://www.yell.com/b/Cottage+Canine+Comforts-Kennels+_+Boarding-Mold-CH75ER-3054187/] near Mold and Calcot Kennels and Cattery in Brynford near Holywell [http://www.yell.com/s/kennels+boarding-brynford.html].

I used Glenbrittle kennels in Neston, about 6 years ago.  I was very, very impressed because my dogs are spoilt rotten too :-)  They had their own 'apartment' which I chose to pay extra for as it had double glazing, so was more insulated from the noise (not yet found a kennel that isn't noisy!).  I was worried the place was a bit big and gimmicky, but I had no choice to use it as my dog sitter became seriously ill just prior to my holiday, I was pleasantly surprised though and I think the dogs were really well cared for (and I was always able to have personal updates when I phoned up to check how they were doing).  Like I say, this was some time ago, but I'd definitely consider using them again should the need ever arise.
