Looking for a book  as a prezzie. Just wondered if anyone knew of a story book that  had a poodle in it (adult reader not a child) Thanks

So the Ladybird book 'Mick the Disobedient Puppy' would be no good then !!

Not the best I've ever read but readable, somebody called Laurien Berenson has written a whole series of murder mysteries which feature show Poodles quite heavily:

Just reading the first in the series which I found in a charity shop yesterday. Quite enjoying it, actually - I like whodunnits, and the dog element is even better. I also didn't understand about the American championship system before - I do now!

Looking forward to reading the rest in the series - I think there's 14 in all - and all dog-related but not all about show dogs as far as I can tell.
