A long while ago I asked a question about qualifying for Crufts via Agility. Running a Beagle in Agility compititions everyone on here said go to shows as the Agility route was to hard.
Yes, it was very hard but being as stubborn as my breed I set about the task. At the end of August at the 'Dogs In Need' Agility show Rasha won the Reserve CC, plus she also finished 3rd in her class in the qualifying heats. Both of these gained her a Stud Book Number. So we have finally qualify for Crufts. We will be there in the show ring on Thursday. This however is not the end of the story, we have also qualified for the ABC Medium Final in the Main Arena on the Friday. What a clever Beagle.
Well done what a great acheivement. And Beagles are not the easiest dogs to train either. Congratulations

Fantastic, specially with a hound! I've seen some great working beagles mind you though, they can do it if they want! I had no idea an agility win could qualify you for the breed classes. :-)
> And Beagles are not the easiest dogs to train either
You have obviously found what motivates your dog, well done. It isn't that certain breeds are hard to train per se, they don#t all have the same motivations that are easy for us to use.

Well done, extremely impressive!!
That is awesome. I have done a bit of fun agility with my beagle girl but knocked it on the head as she was just too immature mentally for it and it was making her dafter! We might go back to it eventually but if we do I am pretty sure the standard classes offered at my club will not suit and we will have to look at a whole different way of training. So big well done to you, bet you two have a terrific bond!

Hi (Ian or Sarah? Not sure which it is) :)
That's great, well done and good luck :)
Thanks Drover. It's Iain.
Well done. A beagle“s certainly not the easiest dog to run in agility! I hope we get to see it on television.
