It's a brand you can readily pick up in a supermarket, that's a plus! One of my vets uses it for her dogs - she likes to keep the fat levels down. She's been using it quite a while. Not used myself though, but seem to think ingredients on their website didn't look bad when I investigated some time ago.

Harringtons - whether made by Wagg or not - is certainly a cut above Wagg. When my sister's elderly GSD - raw fed from a youngster - could no longer digest raw food so well in her twilight years, she did very well on Harringtons.

In her youth she suffered all kinds of skin issues and digestive intolerances, had been on all kinds of hypo-allergenic and natural kibbles but not one suited her; which is why my sister found out about raw feeding about 16 years ago, bought all the books, researched it online and never looked back.

I've fed it in the past when I've run out and needed some quick from the supermarket I was at, it's ingredients are much better than Wagg, it's not one and the same food, I'm sure they have a hypoallergenic food too..

I have been feeding this to my two for the last month or so and so far I'm pleased with the results.  I changed over from a premium brand as I went to a food festival and Harringtons had a stall and were only charging £2 for a 2kg bag.  I stocked up with the mindset that I wasn't going to lose much if they turned their noses up at it!

Thankfully they didn't and the results have so far been good.  The pups stools are now firmer, less smelly and since the changeover the (quite severe!!) flatulence problems that she had have almost gone away!  Phew! :-)  On a more serious note though, her coat is still glossy and she feels firmer and more heavy set all over.  I do feed part raw too.

The older girl has lost a few teeth with age so sometimes struggles with the harder, more compacted biscuits and would pick at her bowl piece by piece unless softened but wolfs this down no trouble at all!  Whether that's partly because she has a pup nipping at her feet to get to her food I'm not sure but either way both dogs seem happy, in good condition and their byproducts I'm happy with as much as I still hate picking it up off the lawn!!

I'm feeding the salmon and potato variety at the moment and it isn't Wagg at all.  Same parent company, different product...see link below :-

Only 14% meat/fish meal + an unspecified meat meal lower in list after the carbs.

I feed my three on it, the lamb and rice, and they look great on it. In fact the youngster was on JW when he came to me and was quite loose. He has been fine since I changed him to harringtons puppy then adult food. I do suppliment with sardines and natures diet but they love it and are thriving on it.

Great that it is readily available too!!

My dogs were fed on it when ran out of JWB, never had a problem with it.
