You can now only register two litters by c sec from a bitch, part of the reason the number of unregistered puppies has risen.

It's on the registraion document, and also if you regsiter on-line it is there too.

She won't be able to register this litter.  Even without this ruel how coudl anyone mate a bitch after two C sections.  Same as the not from parent top offspring and full siblings rule, who these days evcer did that?  Except for accidental matings.

I rteally thought the KC brought both these ruels in as they woudl have minimum impact on good breeding practice, but give a clear message of what is not generally approved of/done.

Well then we finally have at least one more reason that Joe Public should be told about for why they should only buy KC registered pups -you know the poor bitch hasn't had to go through several sections.

that is the reason i am going to print the document off to show her, she said to me i am only a hobby breeder so it does not meen me it is only for proper breeders . Talk about me being gobsmacked , i said i do not care you are a breeder and think of your poor bitch, the pups are worth a lot of money though even when not registered but at least i can show her i was correct

If you give birth to a child your a 'parent' you allow yoru animal to have young your 'a breeder', simples.

Scary that people are so ignorant. :(

but it is a comment I hear over and over, ti seems that if they go to a proper breeder they expect health testing etc, but don't seem to think ti applies to them just breeding the odd litter.

Double standards or what.

It is like the I don't need to health test, show or trial I only breed dogs as pets.
