Ok, my 4 1/2 month terrier pup seems to have missing pre molars on both top and bottom jaws. I know his teeth haven't all come through yet but there is no room for  them so its unlikely that they will. As this is a fairly uncommon working breed his breeder would like him to be bred from and I am concerned about the possible problems these missing teeth could cause if its a genetic issue.

Even wolves have the odd missing premolars, and if it is only a real issue in some European countries who insist on full dentition.

I suppose you'd need to find out if missing teeth are an issue in the breed.
