anyone had a bitch that has had kennel cough when they
where nursing a litter, if so what did the vet have to say
and did they give you antibiotics ?

antibiotics wont work with a virus will they?

It can also be bacterial (Bordetella bronchiseptica being the one that springs to mind). Sorry I have no advice regarding the OP but hope the bitch and pups recover well.

Get the bitch to the vet immediately for antibiotics and an anti-inflammatory injection to calm the coughing.  With luck, she will then stop the coughing within a day or so.  The pups will probably get it and if they do, get them to the vet immediately for treatment.  How old are they and what breed?

we got her to the vets, no kc thank god no antibiotics needed, something was stuck in the back of her throat it looked like a feather when it was removed,
as soon as it was removed and she was back home she was eating and drinking and being a good mum

Good news then - you must be so relieved!
