does any one know how you feed this?  do you sprinkle on food? are capsules a better option? any info helpful.

I use it with my Beardie as he strains when passing a motion. I just sprinkle it on his food then mix it through

thanks Cava14Una.

my gsd (10 1/2 years old) has just been diagnosed with a perineal hernia which causes straining so have been advised to add fibre to his diet.

hope you don't mind me asking some questions,

has it helped with the straining? what are the stools like (pickupable)? which brand do you use?  how much do you use for your beardie? how quick acting is it? which feed to you add it to AM or PM?

thanks

Yes it has helped comes out in a long snake so to speak looks very odd at first :) Very easy to pick up if large and look almost plastic.
I get mine from Healthspan

I give a heaped teaspoonful but you may need to adjust. I find it takes effect quite quickly if I run out and he's without for a few days it works quickly once I add it again.

I only feed once a day in the morning. I do find that he needs out son after eating though.
