we found this breed in a dog book and are interested in how they are for hunting dogs. I enjoy all bird and duck hunting and have some information on the breed. We like the looks and size and temperment of the dogs but would like more info on how they are for hunters. I am leaning toward a Lab but the wife would like something smaller. She likes the looks of the Labradoodles. Any info anyone would send would be greatly appreciated. We live in the western united states.
