I've long been looking for a "proper" grooming table and have seen many on the Internet but can't find a stockist.
I like to see what I'm buying, especially when I'm not sure exactly what I need, size wise and quality wise.
There are many variations on price so assume that's on quality too.
Does anyone know if there's a shop that I could actually visit, view and buy?
If no shop, could anyone recommend a site on the Internet where I could find descent quality and fair price?
I'm in the Midlands and would like a folding table with restraining arm or h-frame.
Thanks in advance :-)

You could pop along to Midland Counties championship show at the Stafford showground this Thursday - Sunday, there's bound to be one or two of the big grooming companies there with tables and people to advise.
Good idea LucyDogs thank you.

Simpson of Langley are a reputable grooming suppliers, they have an online shop and have good after sales service. Dezynadog are another grooming suppliers and have a shop in Kings Lynn area and also supply online. There is a Grooming competition in Warwickshire on Sunday 28th October (Groomer of the Year), you will find details on the Internet if you do a search, there is usually a couple of suppliers there and the have products on show, you will however have to pay for entry.
Could you ask other exhibitors at a show(after they've exhibited obviously)? Often when I'm sat around after we've been in and are talking to friends or people enquiring about the breed we end up talking about equipment and which we recommend/wouldn't buy again.

I bought my grooming table (and restraining arm) from Simpsons of Langley via internet. I am in Scotland so have to get most things mail order. I took advice from friends (some of whom breed and show) with regards to the size of the table etc to buy. I have a smallish breed dog but didn't want the smallest table as I reckoned you needed space to lay down brushes, combs etc.
If you are planning to show, some people prefer a table with wheels. Worth working out exactly what you want first.
You will also need grooming nooses to fix to the restraining arm. I bought mine from Christies Direct in Ireland.
