ive been on CD for nearly 6weeks now, while getting advice obv i have a read at other posts, now after reading books, and advice from others, ive got something i want to ask? ive read and been told that bitches eat the puppies poop, MY DOG HAS NOT since they have been born, she will clean their pee but not poop, i dnt know if thats normal if she dosnt or something else, the other nite she had no problem eating the cats poop, so is there sum dogs that dont eat their puppies poop?

Some breeds refuse point blank to do this and see it as your job. And not all bitches read the books that we have :-)

One consolation in having to clean up yourself is at least the pups do not see the bitch doing it and I would have thought they would be less likely to develop the habit which to us is so offensive.

Most of my bitches will continue to eat the pups doings while they are in their puppy pen, and anytime they do it indoors, outdoors I usually manage to get to it first.

I would not consider it normal for a bitch not to clean up all the pups waste until at least the time they can move away from their bed too poo unaided, as until then pups cannot poo without the bitch or person stimulating them to do so.  If a bitch of mine did not clean her pups after the first day, then I would not breed from her again.

After all in the wild that is the only way of keeping the nest clean, and to help avoid predators finding them.

Poor mothering instincts are often found in toy breeds who appear to have become more infantalised than most breeds.
