I've just been looking at activity toys and didn't realise how many there are its amazing so can anyone recommend any.  We have a kong and a ball that you put food into she loves the ball but if I pack the kong she only plays with it for a while then leaves it despite it having food inside but she does like to push it about if I just put dry kibble in it so it drops out (bit like the ball really) would really love to try her on some of these toys so would love to hear of all your trails and fails lol

I have some interactive toys at my classes the dogs love to find & eat the treats they have worked for. BIG bit of advise i would give you is get one that is made of plastice, then you can wah/put into the dishwasher.

There is an art to kong-stuffing...

Make it too hard and they will give up.

Make it too easy and it doesn't last 5 minutes.

The best thing is to put some easy stuff in (like kibble or stuff that falls out, or soft cheese spread or peanut butter) and then one or two harder bits.  That way, the dog gets rewarded quickly for trying and is more likely to keep trying even when it gets harder.

Dogs get better at kong destuffing, as they get more experience too.  With puppies it's best to start out easy.

If you want a recommendation for a treat dispenser, try one of the weighted pyramid style ones - Kong makes one of those too.
