Just wondered what everyone uses to wash their girls teats when they have puppies?
And also is it normal for a bitch to be leaking what looks like normal milk (not the clear yellowish stuff ) from day 52?

I have already answered this quite recently, could have there have been 2 threads on the same subject?

I add a few drops of TeaTree Oil to some warm water and bathe them from about 7weeks onwards when the belly hair starts to thin.

Producing milk can happen at varying stages before whelping and be normal, in some cases it can take 48hrs post whelping before the milk finally comes in, important the pups are allowed to suckle to encourage the let down of the milk and only supplemented if there is no milk at all and no weight gain.
