Well I wanted to thank everyone for their help on here when I though my girl was expecting. We have however decided to not breed her now and go down the neutering route instead because of the increase going into rescue of our breed and knowing that they need to go to experienced homes we decided not to add to the population.
Bit gutted as I was excited but its for the best. Also gutted I built such a great whelping box and wont get to see it used, ive stuck it up for sale on the sale board on here.

Thanks again everyone and good luck to everyones current, pending and future litters xx

Lovely to see somebody considering everything carefully and taking the decision that is best all round for their circumstances AND the breed. :) Breeding is very stressful and I have so often wished I could just put an order in to my bitches -just two pups please, show quality bitches! It's finding the right homes that is the worst part and at the moment even top breeders are struggling.

I just had my bitch spayed today, so know where you're coming from. Now to try and keep a collie quiet for 10 days lol.

I'm sure you've made the right decision-- well done :-)
