Was wondering if I got a deer head and they don't eat it all in one sitting ect do you grab it and put in the fridge for later - eeeew lol
Or do you leave it outside till they go back to munch? Would you have to worry about bacteria them getting sick and all?

Is this pretty much how you feed them their food in a sitting or no? Do you worry about adding veggies or is that just added to prepackaged ones due
to being a filler?

Wondering cause right now I get prepackaged food which is either chicken & bone only, or chicken/turkey with bone, liver & veggies.
Also Alpaca 1 pound patties, Bison 1/2 pound patties - which I won't be buying a lot of to often kinda pricey and also Beef which is a lot cheaper - 2 pound patties.

Deer season is coming up and hoping to get stuff off some people so just want to no what I can feed from the deer for a feeding, planning on freezing it for at least
10 days or should I freeze longer? Read some place that says 5 days another said a month- so not sure how long exactly.

Is it safe to just go to your grocery store and grab a whole chicken and feed that to your dog after cutting it up? Then again I would freeze before hand.

Thank you so much :-) Sorry if I repeated questions.

Ha I like those recipes - take whatever it is and hand to your dog :-)

I did wonder why you needed raw recipes ;)

Stuff (outer than recreational bones, which would be beef femur) is never around long enough to get whiffy etc.

Awesome- thanks peeps! :-)

I'll have to def ask them to keep the deer heads so I can give them to my dogs- gonna look weird seeing a head or 2 in my
back yard lol

We did buy some marrow bones which they loved- mind you when it started getting late I had to put them up cause they didn't want to come
in the house. Thankfully its getting cold out at night and still in the morning they will be fine. ( I do want the warm weather back :-( )
I'll give them back this afternoon when things warm up some cause Moose & T-Bone will stay there chewing the entire time- Junior not
so much due to missing teeth. Plus have to watch them don't want no fights between Junior and Moose

I also got some whole fish from our pet metro so gonna give that in with a supper meal instead of adding fish oil- pretty excited about that
lol so prob next weekend I think. I am enjoying adding in all these things to see how they like it- pretty interesting.

I'll have to look for pig trotters- what are those?

Oooh my!
Do you weigh that for a feeding, or do you just give it to them for a chew?
Moose eats 2 pounds a day- the boston's 4 ounces.
