Hi guys,
I am judging in a few months time and want to get some nice prizes for each of my Best of Breed and Puppy in breed winners. I know with the economic climate not many people are attending shows with  price of fuel etc so I thought it woyld be a nice incentive to get people to come along rather than win a piece of card. But what to get as prizes? I had thought of Personalised Rosettes for each breed that I'm judging or a paperweight? Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated. Would be nice to see a decent turn out :)

Do you have a breed that is popular enough that you can find products with nice pictures of the breed on them? I've received some lovely prizes in the past such as paperweights, pillows, plates, cups and picture frames with images of my breed on them. The one thing I would actually stay away from is rosettes because most exhibitors have so many of them that even the nicest and most special ones end up getting put away eventually.

You can loads of breed specific stuff on ebay. Not expensive either. Little glass tumblers with the breed on etc.

I have given small gifts the last few times I have given CC's. I have been on a low budget & found it hard to miss out certain placings. Last time I went for Best Dog, Best Bitch, Best Veteran & Best Puppy(it was a breed club show). I must admit I bought some nice biscuits from Sainsburys . The time before I bought nice choccys but  4 or 5 main placings can add up moneywise!! I  would love to be able to afford first placings, to reach more people but where do you draw the line??

I don't know how much you are wanting to pay but know someone who does lovely brooches from photo's.
