hi there, my dog had her pups a week ago 2day, she was eating her food fine, but the last 2 days, she hasnt botherd with her food, ive noticed that she will still eat fish chicken ect... do u think shes just wanting food like the chicken and rice ect,??? and can any of u reccomend good brands... i have tried hill science but she turnded her nose up at that aswell....

She needs to eat a LOT (at least 4 meals a day) as otherwise she will start to lose a lot of weight and won't produce enough milk. Her mouth is probably sore. Give her whatever she wants, and offer things like chicken wings and similar.

are you soaking her dry food, almost to mush?  Are you giving it to ehr in the whelping box?

When my bitches get very sore mouths from cleaning pups they totally ignore dry food. 

As others have said, she needs to eat  a huge amount to rear her litter.  I always buy steak mince, chicken breast, and white fish.  You can poach the white fish in goats milk for her, and try scrambled eggs.  She may need feeding in the whelping box, it's quite normal to hand feed bitches after whelping to get them to eat enough. 

I would suggest that you feed on demand once you get her on wet food.  It's surprising how much they can get through.
