Hi ,

I've been trying to find an orphanage abroad (was primarily thinking China) that I can send clothes , toys etc to but i'm having no luck. Lots want monetary donations only , and I was really hoping just to send parcels out there.

Does anyone know if this is possible - or know where I could find any information?

Do you mean something like Operation Christmas Child, operated by Samaritans Purse UK? (not to be confused with Samaritans - the emotional support charity).

Operation Christmas Child send out thousands of shoeboxes every Chritmas from the UK to orphaned children.  Some people don't like the religious aspect to the charity, but most people don't care about that.  Not sure if they go to China though???
