All 4 of my dogs use the slabbed patio as the loo. To put it bluntly it stinks!
I've tried hosing down every wii they do, washing the whole area with bio soap powder/gel and using zoflora.
None of them take the aroma away.
Has anyone any ideas?

You need to hose away (under pressure) the accumulation between the slabs, which traps the smell, with ours it's hair.
I find
Yard Clean very effective on whiffs (entire boys). I hose off with water then use a little very dilute YC in a watering can. Does the job brilliantly.
Not cheap though but I think I use it more dilute than recommended so probably save a little money that way. I bought it at Crufts after seeing lots of people buying massive quantities and getting a free trolley!! I just bought the smallest size but next time I'm aiming for a trolley too - I'm such a sucker!!

For years we bought (from Ch shows) and used a disinfectant and deodoriser for our patio, in the sun it was still smelly. Someone on here mentioned bio washing powder, we tried bio liquid solution in a watering can, just pouring it on when someone's had a wee, I use a broom so the liquid goes down the gaps between paving. No smell whatsoever.

Make up a strong solution of bio washing liquid (400ml per gallon of COLD water)and make sure you soak the entire area. Leave it to soak in for at least 30 minutes then hose off. You can then use zoflora to make it smell nice lol.

I use Persil liquid which smells lovely, well diluted and it does what the manufacturers designed it for..breaking down biological products by enzymatic means...works a treat!
In fact I always rinse out used bottles and throw the liquid down somewhere...waste not etc.

I use Biological washing liquid which I dilute with water and allow it to sit on the surface for 30 minutes. I then hose down thoroughly and finish off with Mistral Odourfresh to give my patio a really lovely smell. The Mistral comes in some really lovely scents and due to its dilution rate lasts for quite a time.
I also always have diluted Mistral in a watering can ready so as soon as my girls have "tinkled" I can pop a little on the spot. This keeps my patio fresh throughout the day, without the need to constantly hose.
Bio washing liquid seems to be the thing to use.....I haven't left it to soak so will give that a try, and make sure the cracks are washed out.
Thanks everyone for replying :-)
