We went on our normal walk in the fields behind my house the other day and my friend was staying over with her little chi. Fay was off lead chasing her ball around (they are growing the grass now for hay so no livestock in there and there fully fenced) and we walked into the next field when i saw a lady with a dog, we have met them befor so i left fay off the lead and carryed of throwing her balls for her. She saw the other dog but didnt run off to go see it untill it came other to us and when i called her (as we were going in diffrent directions) she left it and came back straight away. However the other dog decided to come with her. I put fays balls away and we tryed ignoring him and just stood there with me holding fays collor. My firends dog didnt like him and was not happy whith him trying to sniff him and kept snapping at him so my friend had to pick him up. Eventural his owner called his name but he was ignoring her (something i rember well from when fay was young). so we caryed on waiting for his owner to come and get him but she didnt, in the end fay slipped her collor as he kept trying to play with her but again i called her and she came straight back and i put it on her again. His owner walked away and called again and he eventualy went back to her after us standing there for a while.
So we carryed on our way but when we got across the field we turned to walk along the path and go up the field to the next one and he was back again but his owner was nowhere in sight as she was in the other field. So again we stood and waited for her to appear but she didnt so i said to my friend we would walk around and meet her at the top of the field as i realy didnt fancy walking back the way we came then back again. So my friend had to carry her dog and i left fay off the lead but took her ball away just incase he pinched it. We got allmost all the way up the field when we bumped into another dog walker and he had stopped and called his dog to heal so i put fay on her lead but the boy following us ran up to it. I said sorry but he isnt mine and we had a chat and let fay off again as it was a dog we had met befor. After having a quick chat his owner appeared at the bottom entrance to the field (where we had entered it when we first met them) so i sent him on his way with the other dog walker as he was going down the path anyway.

So fay made it look like she was a well trained and behaved dog. lol
