Not that my lot need regularly bathing but since we've now got a majority of deep golden red hounds, can anyone recommend a good shampoo?

Till now I have had red/cream coats and don't find one is any better that another, I tend to use human conditioners if I want a coat to calm down quicker for a show and I don't have a week to wait for it to happen naturally.

My newest girl is black/cream, my first 2 tone dog.

What conditioner do you use. When I bath my aussie ir takes days for his coat to settle.

Tends to be which ever one I am using at the time, Elvive and Frizz Ease come to mind.

After spending a fortune on various doggie conditioners I now stick to pantene and find it much better than anything previously used!

You can buy a red shampoo at shows(can't remember off hand the name and I don't have my red boy any longer).  Fantastic stuff and well worth the money as it brings out the red in the coat.  I loved it.

I like Chris Christensen's Gold on Gold shampoo best for red coats. I've tried a few and that one brings their coats up best, and really makes them gleam.
