I am thinking of booking a last minute break with pup this Summer, I haven't ever taken a dog away before.
I tried Centre Parcs but there were no doggie places available on our dates.
I was thinking of East or South coast as we haven't been there, or a forest style break.
Can anyone recommend anywhere ?
Thanks in advance.

Try forest holidays they have dog friendly cabins we have been to the keldy one before and was very nice. I'm not sure how to post the link though sorry.

There are several dog friendly places advertised on the homepage of www.agilitynet.co.uk and also in the Ebay shop of www.obedienceuk.com

Yes agree forest holidays are really good and really good spec lodges with or with a hot tub.
We have been to the Forest of Dean and then Ellesmere in Shropshire.
Thanks. I am looking at the Forest of Dean one but it is difficult to negotiate on an iPod ! My laptop is poorly.
Is there anything to do other than walking and biking ?

Not there but there are some lovely walks with lakes and also nice places to
Visit ( monmouth) and symonds Yatt about 5 miles away has some really good pubs with excellent food all dog friendly :-)
The one we were looking at in Scotland disappeared whilst booking !!! So we are off to Sherwood.
If anyone has been before and has any tips or suggestions they will be very gratefully received.
Thanks for all of your relies.

Let us know what it is like and hope you have a good time
One last question - do they have a freezer to put pup's frozen mince into ?
Thanks.

Depends as the forest of dean only had a fridge with a small freezer draw where as the Shropshire one had a large fridge freezer.
I just bought raw food everyday from the supermarket :-)

They had a freezer at the keldy one. Hope you enjoy the stay :)
