I have seen someone showing a large dog with a fairly thick rope style of lead. Anyone any ideas where I could find it?

Inka. You might find with your puppy you might be better with a half chain, as iit dose not have too much weight on it.
When my greyhound was a puppy I try a thick rope lead it weigh him down and he could not hold his head up. Now I use a thin leather slip lead which he likes. Alot people use leather slip leads or chain leads. It is what you get on with and also it is seeing what your little one will like.

Champshows will have stalls that will sell diffrent types of leads. Thats where i got my girls newer show lead her older one hurt my hand when she pulled so i got a rope one. It was usefull getting it at show as i was able to try it out on her to make sure i got the right length and see how it felt.
