Bitch currently day 9 into season although she wants to be mated she is no where near ready according to blood results.
Level is 2
She has been bitten in the park by an off lead dog and had hole in her chin area from bite. Vet has prescribed Norclav for 5 days incase of infection.

Do you think antibiotics could affect chances of conceiving?

Not at all, Noroclav is perfectly safe.

Some stud dog owners insist that a bitch is on a course of antibiotics when she comes to be mated.  Doesn't affect conception at all.

yes I have been asked to have a course of antibios when mating a bitch in the past.
