I am considering buying a microscope to check motility of sperm, can anyone tell me what the minimum magnification I would need is?

900x is best I think, usually have settings of 150x 450x900x look for good quality second hand maybe. Electronic and not just a zoom but focus as well. Don't forget slides and covers

Thanks, yes 2nd hand, I just need something to check before deciding if it is worth getting the oldies "stored"

I got a new one from Ebay with up to 1200 magnification, it came with lots of bits and pieces and wasn't expensive.
