Topic Dog Boards / General / Bringing Pup from Poland...Transport ideas needed
- By loobyloo2 [gb] Date 27.07.12 12:44 UTC
I brought my pup from Poland 2 years ago, it cost near on a £1000 on fuel (van fully loaded and a bit of a circular route, made it into a holiday),
I have now been asked to help someone else bring their pup from Poland, but they don't drive.
They have asked me if I know any decent, professional pet transport company that they could use.
I don't know of one, as I never used one. Flying would not be an option.
Any ideas anyone.
Thanks in advance.

Why would flying not be an option?  That is the only way a pet transport/courier would do it.

I would do that for you but I just got back from two weeks hols in Poland. We went there with my two dogs.

There are some pet transport services between PL and UK. Try google it.
Here is link to one of the companies, not sure they speak english though as website is in polish only but I would give them a call.

Thanks for the link dogjunkie. We have seen another pet transport company based in Wakefield that is also Polish, she is checking them out as they are based close by. I'll pass this link on to her too.
