I have a pug and want to start breeding her towards the end of the year. I am new to this and have been reading on KC website how to do this properly. I then have been directed to join a Pug Breeders Club, there is only one and I need a proposer and seconder to do so.

Is anyone a member who could help me join? :-)

emilyannie, are you showing your dog?  You really need to to find out if she is suitable.  You will soon find people willing to propose you if she is getting placed.

You're doing the right thing by trying to join the club, pugs aren't the easiest dogs to breed and a more knowledgable person might be very important if you get as far as breeding with your current girl. Perhaps the breeder of your girl can help you? If you get out and about at the shows, get to know the pug people, then they will propose you as a member. If pugs are like my breed, there are health tests etc that as a responsible breeder and club member you should do before breeding your girl. Good luck!

Generally Pet owners are just as welcome to join breed clubs, and you usually get your breeder to propose you.  Often the need for a seconder is waived, often being put through on committee.
